My training plan is based on a training plan in the book, Be Iron Fit by Don Fink. I started off thinking of doing the Just Finish Programme, however as most of you who know me would know, that just didn't seem like enough for me...
And so now I am training based on the Competitive Programme. This training plan starts on 6 hours in Week 1 and hits 20 hours in Week 27. I am amending the training plan according to the OxfordTri training sessions and then again according to my fluctuating work hours. There are various ways that I can get around these 'hurdles' and some of these ways would include commuting by bike and using the gym facilities at work.
I have a Training Journal and at the end of the week I will post about how the week went, unless I feel strongly about a session and then there might be mid-week posts. I will not be recording what I eat or counting calories as once I hit double figures in my training hours I will be eating like a machine. I am trying to stop snacking and drinking alcohol and that is mostly the changes to my diet, apart from eating healthier.
The rest will be week by sweaty exhausting week...
I hope you (whoever you may be) enjoys it, please drop comments as it will be nice to get some feedback and motivation.
